69% of Sudan Hospitals are Suspended from Work

Dr. Refaat Al -Mirghani, head of the Human Rights Commission in Sudan, appealed to the parties to the conflict in the country to respect the declared truce, indicating that the situation increases the violence day after day.

In television statements to the "Cairo News" channel, he added that it is not possible to talk about the improvement of the humanitarian situation and the human rights file in Sudan except in the event of a comprehensive ceasefire or reaching a sustainable truce that becomes respectful from both sides.

Al -Mirghani confirmed that the priority at the present time is to address the health sector urgently in light of the "69 %" of hospitals stopping the provision of health service.

He explained that some clashes occur inside the hospitals, as well as targeting weapons, ammunition, and heavy.

He pointed to the inability of patients and chronic diseases to receive health care and obtain medicine in light of the war between the streets between the parties to the conflict, pointing to the deterioration of the food situation.
