He pointed out that the enrollment of 59 students from the top ranked ones this year, is unprecedented, adding: “Our academic programs follow the German curriculum based on the unit of education and Scientific research and practical application in the pre-graduate stage. This one is accredited in Egypt, Germany and Europe”.

Recalling memories about the establishment of the university, Mansour said, "I studied at Cairo University and then traveled to the Federal State of Germany to get a Ph.D. and I returned to Egypt with the dream of establishing a German university in Egypt”.

He stressed that the successful experience enabled us to establish a new branch of GUC in the German capital Berlin in 2012 to allow outstanding students to travel to complete a semester, study a specialized academic course or master the German language or complete a graduation project.

He pointed out that 32% of engineering students have completed their master degree in Germany, and more than 45% of students at different faculties did travel to Germany.

He explained that the university signed an agreement, in 2014, with the Syndicate of Engineers in Baden-Württemberg to enroll the graduates of the Faculty of Engineering at GUC to work in Germany upon reaching level 2B in learning German.
