Modern scientific studies showed that the main reason behind feeling lazy is due to the lack of fluid in the body, which occurs largely while fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
Not enough fluid in the body can cause laziness, fatigue, and exhaustion. Therefore, the body must be compensated for what it lacks.
Here are some essential tips to boost the body's energy levels during the holy month.
1- Cut down the caffeine as leads to laziness the next day, and replace them with natural herbal beverages.
2- Drinking plenty of water between the period of Iftar and Suhoor because it helps in revitalizing the cells of the body. You can also drink fresh sugar-free juice.
3- Eating foods rich in fiber, such as leaf vegetables as well as fruits like oranges, apples, and strawberries. You can consume them between Iftar and Suhoor.
4-Eat a low-fat, salt-free suhoor meal to reduce the feeling of thirst and laziness during fasting.
5- While eating Iftar or Suhoor, avoid eating fast and fried foods as they increase the feeling of laziness the following day.
6- Consume a cup of yogurt after the suhoor meal as it provides the body with all the elements it needs and contributes significantly to reducing the feeling of laziness.
