We're in Toba, one of Egypt’s coldest months in the winter season. In our search for warmth, we also seek to keep our beloved pets and strays on the streets warm.
Despite their fur, animals can get cold and catch the flu, here is how you can keep your beloved furry friend, warm, safe, and happy in this harsh climate.
Grooming
Avoid trimming, shaving or cutting your pet's hair because it is their source of warmth during winter, however, it is important to maintain a good grooming regime.

Bedding

Moreover, you can place a rug under their bed to prevent the floor's cold temperature from affecting the comfortableness of their sleeping place.

Sheltering strays
If there are strays in your area, remember that they need protection from the elements as well as food and water.
It is easy to give them a hand by making your own shelter by putting a blanket, pillow, and some walls for much-needed protection.

Avoid Turing your Car Quickly
Cars are one of many hazards to stray animals as they tend to crawl up under the hood. To avoid injuring or killing any hidden animals, bang on your car's hood to scare them away before starting your engine.
