Polish Deputy Minister of Health Waldemar Kraska said that the fourth wave of the pandemic is so close, media agencies reported on Thursday.
He added that the upcoming wave might not be dangerous as the previous due to the global vaccination rollout; however, various challenges face the vaccination process. Then, he described that everything is stable until now.
In the same context, the Polish official expressed that the time of the fourth wave beginning is hard to be expected as it is based on the number of fully vaccinated residents.
Finally, he concluded that the percentage of COVID-19 infections by the new Delta variant has increased to 8% in half July.
