The Housing Minister, Assem El-Gazar, has confirmed that over 46,000 fruitful and non-fruitful trees and palm trees have been planted in "Capital Park" within the New Administrative Capital.
The 10-kilometer-long park covers an area of more than 1000 feddans and offers entertainment facilities built to global standards.
In a statement on Saturday, June 15, 2024, Gazar mentioned that the park is a unique project, the first of its kind in Egypt, aimed at introducing a new style of entertainment projects to improve the quality of life for citizens.
He added that 65% of the project area is dedicated to green spaces and planted zones, with the remaining 35% consisting of water features as well as sports, entertainment, and cultural facilities.
