44 People Injured in Kazakhstan After China-Kazakhstan Earthquake

The Health Ministry of Kazakhstan announced the injury of 44 people in Almaty after the earthquake that struck the Kazakhstan-China borders.

 The earthquake also left behind six injuries in Aki city in China, including two critical conditions. 

On Monday, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit the borders of China and Kyrgyzstan, the US Geological Survey (USGS) declared.

The earthquake was recorded at almost 2 am (Tuesday - local time) at a depth of 27 kilometers, the USGS added.

The center of the earthquake was in China's Xinjiang region, about 140 kilometers west of the city of Aksu.
