On Sunday, more than 40,000 worshipers performed Eid al-Adha prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation forces and the attacks on worshipers.
The occupation forces attacked worshipers on their way to Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevented dozens from entering to perform Eid prayers, The Palestinian Wafa News Agency reported.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem announced that more than 40,000 worshipers performed Eid prayers, due to the strict restrictions imposed on worshipers, preventing thousands from entering.
In the early morning hours, the occupation forces stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, checked the identities of the worshipers inside, obstructed the movement of worshipers, and prevented a large number of young men from entering.
