Yemen's education crisis continues to worsen as 40% of children are now out of school, according to recent UN data.
With over 4.5 million children unable to access education, and more than 20% of schools shut down, the conflict has pushed the education system to the brink.
The situation is compounded by nearly 193,000 teachers who remain unpaid since 2016, forcing many to leave the profession.
Teacher shortages, overcrowded classrooms, and a lack of resources have further deteriorated the quality of education, putting Yemen’s future at grave risk.
