Russian Emergency Ministry announced about 385,000 refugees, including 81,000 children from Donbas since the start of escalation.
“Until Wednesday morning, 354,600 refugees, including 80,700 children arrived in Russia’s border from Donetsk and Luhansk republics.
A large-scale evacuation of the citizens of the two republics began against the background of the escalations and repeated shelling of this region by the Ukrainian forces since mid-February.
Subsequently, Russia recognized the independence of both republics, Donetsk and Luhansk.
