The death toll from Nepal's annual monsoon is nearing 40 as landslides caused by heavy rain killed another person, and blocked a major highway.
The Interior Ministry said 38 people have died so far this year and at least 33 people are missing.
Added that rescue workers are also searching for 6 other people who went missing after a landslide swept away their home in a village near the capital, Kathmandu.
Police said landslides also blocked a major highway linking the capital with the southern plains.
