According to Agency France-Press, the Ministry of Health announced the "martyrdom" of three young men who were shot by Israeli forces in Jaba', near the city of Jenin (north).

The Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, praised the Israeli police forces for eliminating what he described as "the abominable terrorists who shot our fighters first

The Israeli police stated that the shooting took place during a military operation in which undercover soldiers from the border guards, the army and the internal security service (Shin Bet) participated in Jaba' to arrest wanted persons suspected of committing attacks on Israeli forces in this sector of the occupied West Bank.

.the statement said that two of the three young men belong to the Islamic Jihad movement. It confirmed that "during the operation, fire from the wanted men's car targeted the undercover members of the Coast Guard," who "retaliated by shooting and killing the three men in the car.
