3.8% of   World's Population Vaccinated against Corona,  "Herd Immunity" Requires 70% Vaccination

The number of people vaccinated against the Coronavirus (also known by the World Health Organization ( WHO) as COVID-19) in the world has exceeded the threshold of 300 million people, according to the Russian "TASS" agency.

The agency stated, based on sources and data, that so far, about 301.4 million people have been vaccinated, which is 2.5 times more than the number of people infected with COVID-19.

Thus, around 3.8% of the world's population has already been vaccinated.

At the same time, the World Health Organization (WHO) indicated that in order to achieve herd immunity, it is necessary to vaccinate about 70% of the world's population.

On the other hand,  the head of the European Department of the World Health Organization, Hans Kluge, said that the pandemic will not end until the beginning of 2022.

The top five countries in the number of citizens who are vaccinated represent 50% of the total number of vaccinated. So, in the United States of America (USA), more than 90 million people have already been vaccinated, in China 52.5 million, in the United Kingdom (UK), taking into account the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and overseas territories, about 23 million people have already been vaccinated, in India 20.7 million, and in Brazil. 10.6 million.

Israel ranks first in terms of the number of vaccinated population (more than 97% of citizens), the second is Seychelles ( a tiny state in the Indian Ocean)     (84.5%), and the third is the United Arab  Emirates (UAE)  (65%).

In Russia, more than 5 million people (3.4% of the country's population) have surpassed the first phase of vaccination against the Coronavirus, as Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova said on March 5.

The Associated Press (AP) revealed that the spread of the new strains of the Coronavirus has recently accelerated in many European countries, amid warnings and calls for caution and caution, to stop its spread.

According to the agency, in Italy, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has invaded a nursery and an elementary school nearby, in the suburb of Polatti, Milan, at an amazing speed.
