1st WWE Saturday's Night Main Event Show in 16 Years to Take Place Tonight

Tonight, WWE will bring the iconic WWE Saturday Night's Main Event after 16 years of absence.

The event's inaugural edition was introduced on May 10, 1985, at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, N.Y.

This year's edition will take place Uniondale, New York, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, the same location as the inaugural event 39 years earlier.

It is expected that WWE will gear up the event with the presence of iconic and original WWE Saturday Night's Main Event faces.

The show will be aired on WWE Youtube platforms and NBC.

The event will be headlined by the anticipated fight between Cody Rhodes, and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

The event also will include the final of the tournament to crown the inaugural WWE Women's US champion between Michin, and Chelsea Green.

Liv Morgan will defend her Women's World title against Iyo Sky, and Gunther will defend his WWE World Heavyweight title in a triple threat match against Damian Priest, and Finn Balor.

The card also includes a fight between Sami Zayn, and Drew McIntyre.
