Saudi Arabia could not announce the first day of Ramadan, noting that it had not received any evidence of the crescent sighting, the Saudi Supreme Court said on Sunday.
On its part, Saudi Arabia’s moon sighting committee mentioned that it would hold another session on Monday evening.
In the same vein, other Arab countries such as Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain will join Saudi Arabia in holding another session on Monday to state whether the first day of Ramadan will be Tuesday, or Wednesday.
Moreover, Egypt, Iraq, Somalia, Yemen and Lebanon revealed that Tuesday will be the first day of the holy month.
