Today, Thursday, 17 Palestinian civilians were wounded by live and rubber bullets, during clashes that erupted after hundreds of  Jewish settlers stormed Joseph's Tomb, east of Nablus governorate, in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said in a press statement: A young man was wounded by live bullets in the thigh and taken to hospital, while 16 others were wounded by rubber bullets, 4 of whom were taken to hospitals, during clashes in the vicinity of Joseph’s shrine after settlers stormed it.

The Palestinian emergency respondent organization added that  "40 civilians suffocated as a result of tear gas, 4 children and a baby were taken to Rafidia Hospital for treatment, while two families were evacuated from their homes due to the thick gas.

It is worth noting that hundreds of settlers stormed Joseph's shrine amid tight protection by the occupation forces, and confrontations erupted.
