14 Egyptian Squash Stars Qualify for J.P. Morgan Round of 16

On Saturday, the preliminary round of the J.P. Morgan tournament has concluded.

14 Egyptian squash players successfully secured their spots in the Round of 16 of the tournament.

The tournament offers prize money of up to $190,000 for both men and women, and is classified as a Platinum-level event, the second-highest tier in squash tournaments.

The qualified Egyptian players are Mohamed Abouelghar, Tarek Momen, Fares Dessouki,

Youssef Ibrahim, Mostafa Asal, and Ali Farag.

In addition, Malak Khafagy, Nada Abbas , Hania El Hammamy , Nour El Sherbini, Rawan El Arabi, Sana Ibrahim, Nouran Gohar, and Amineh Arfi booked their seats in the Round of 16.

The tournament saw a significant Egyptian presence, with 22 players participating: 11 men, including Ali Farag, Youssef Soliman, Mohamed El Shorbini, Karim Abdel Gawad, Mohamed Zakaria, Mohamed Abouelghar, Youssef Ibrahim, Tarek Momen, Fares Dessouki, Ali Abou El Enein, and Mustafa Asal. Additionally, 11 women participated: Nouran Gohar, Feroze Abu Khalil, Amineh Arfi, Hena Ramadan, Sana Ibrahim, Hania El Hammamy, Nada Abbas, Rawan El Arabi, Farida Mohamed, Malak Khafagy, and Nour El Sherbini.
