South Korea's Ministry of Interior announced today, Friday, that 135 people have been evacuated from their homes across the country due to heavy rains.
The ministry added that the heavy rains also caused power outages in more than four thousand homes in the capital (Seoul), according to the South Korean "Yonhap" news agency.
Amid continuing rains, more than 2,000 households in Seoul's Seodaemun district suffered from power outages after a fallen tree cut a high-voltage power line, according to the Central Disaster Prevention and Safety Headquarters.
