12 Egypt Squash Players to Participate in London Classic Tournament

On Wednesday, the competitions of London Classic Squash will kick off for both divisions: men's, and women's. The prizes of the tournament estimated at $109 for men, and the same value for women.

It will take place in London between March 27, and April 1.

12 Egyptian stars will make their appearances in the tournament's both divisions: 6 men, and 6 women.

For men, Egypt will be represented by Fares El Dessoukey, Karim El Hammamy, Mohamed El Sherbiny, Mostafa Asal, Karim Abdel Gawad, and Ali Abou El Enien.

For women, Nour El Sherbiny, Nouran Gohar, Fayrouz Abo El Kheir, Hania El Hammamy, Mariam Matwali, and Malak Khafagi.

On Monday, PSA announced the international ranking for the final week for March 2024.

For men, the ranking included five Egyptian players.

Ali Farag headed the ranking for the 43th successive week, and the 197th in his history.

Mostafa Asal came fourth, and Karim Abdel Gawad jumped to No.5 seed.

Mazen Hesham jumped to sixth, and Tarek Mo'men came eighth.

For women's, five Egyptian Squash stars are included in the list.

Nour El Sherbiny headed the international ranking of the final week in March 2024 and for 30 successive weeks, and 240 weeks in her history.

Hania El Hammamy came second, and Nouran Gohar came third.

Nour El Tayeb's position improved to No. 6, and Rawan Al Arabi appeared in the top 10.
