5Egyptian players will participate in the men's division. They are Mohamed El Sherbiny, Mostafa Asal, Youssef Ibrahim, Fares El Desouky, and Youssef Soliman.
In addition, 6 Egyptian players will take part in the women's tournament, and they are Nour El Tayeb, Salma Hany, Farida Mohamed, Rawan El Arabi, Nour Abo El Makarem, and Haya Ali.
The current title holders of the tournament are Egypt's Nour El Tayeb, and her husband, and the World's No.1 seed Ali Farag.
