Teams from 11 Arab countries are participating in the 2023 Arab School Football Championship (Boys-Girls), which is organized by the Egyptian School Sports Federation, in cooperation with the Arab Federation for Physical Education and School Sports.
The tournament was held in Egypt and will continue until November 27, and includes competitions in football and swimming, at the Police Union Sports Club.
The tournament is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with the participation of teams from (11) Arab countries: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Iraq, the Sultanate of Oman and Palestine.
A team from the Palestinian community residing in Egypt participated in the tournament, due to the tragic circumstances that Palestine is going through, which made it impossible for a team to participate from within it.
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education, said that the aim of this event is not only to win medals and climb the podiums, but also to promote acquaintance, brotherhood and bonding among all participating children
