In a strategic enhancement of military cooperation, the United States has positioned over 10,000 servicemen across Poland, as revealed by the US Ambassador to Warsaw, Mark Brzezinski, during an interview with the PAP news agency.

This deployment marks a significant reinforcement of the U.S. military presence, aimed at bolstering training initiatives and joint exercises with the Polish Army.

Ambassador Brzezinski emphasized the critical role of US-supplied military assets, including Abrams tanks, F-16 fighter jets, and HIMARS units, in fortifying Poland's defense capabilities and strengthening the North Atlantic Alliance's strategic posture.

Reflecting a notable escalation in the U.S. military commitment to the region, this deployment represents a doubling of the US force in Poland since February 2022, when the troop count stood at 5,000.

In a further testament to the deepening defense ties, the Polish Defense Ministry announced in March 2023 the establishment of the first permanent US Army garrison on Polish soil, underscoring the enduring partnership between the two nations in the face of evolving security challenges.
