CAIRO, Nov. 29 (SEE)- The General Manager of Sysmex Ahmed Shawqi revealed that the company's sales in the Egyptian market exceeded EGP 100 million during the current fiscal year.
This came during a press conference to announce the inauguration of the company's branch in Egypt.
Shawqi said that Sysmex established its branch in Egypt with a capital of EGP 10 million, expecting to reach EGP 40 million in the coming years.
The company's acquired 45% of the Egyptian market with the aim of increasing its market share.
Sysmex is a manufacturer of medical devices and solutions in many countries, including China, India, Brazil, Germany, and Singapore.
"It has a branch in Saudi Arabia with an annual sales of SAR 23 million and another in the UAE with AED 7 billion worth of sales," he said.
The company exported medical equipment to more than 190 countries with a total sales of $ 2.7 billion in 2018.
Sysmex has been exporting its products to the Egyptian market since 2008.
It is a Japanese company established in 1980 and listed on the current Stock Exchange market.
