Pakistan announced on Thursday that it had agreed with India to extend the ceasefire until next Sunday, according to French media.
It is worth noting that the Pakistani military announced that the death toll from recent raids carried out by Indian forces inside the country had risen to 51 dead and 199 wounded.
The Pakistani Army's Public Relations Department clarified, as reported by the English-language Pakistani channel Geo News, that the dead included 11 soldiers and 40 civilians, noting that the wounded included 121 civilians and 78 members of the armed forces.
The department described the Indian attacks as "barbaric" and noted that the Indian armed forces had launched unjustified raids targeting innocent civilians, including women, children, and the elderly.
