The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately warm weather will prevail in most of the country during Thursday’s daylight hours.
Extremely hot weather is also expected to hit South Upper Egypt.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, the North Coast, and North Upper Egypt.
Dusty winds will occur occasionally in South Sinai and the Red Sea Governorate.
There will also be a disruption of maritime navigation in the Red Sea and Gulf of Suez with wind speed reaching 40 to 60 km/hr and wave height ranging from 2 to 3 meters.
The Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 2 and 3 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at nighttime.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 32°C in Cairo, 27°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 35°C in Sohag, 38°C in Qena, and 39°C in Aswan.
