Ismail noted that 5% of the university students come from different nationalities, such as students from America, Germany and Africa, and the University facilitates the payment of tuition fees for African students.

For Canadian students, Ismail said that there are many attempts to attract Canadian students to study at his university and to stress that Egypt is a safe country. Ismail added that there is cooperation currently with German and American universities to attract foreign students to study at Ahram Canadian University.

Cooperation agreements will also be signed soon with these countries and an American professor will be invited to give a lecture to the university students.

“There is a strict system of education in the Ahram Canadian University in order to make the graduates distinguished: the study depends on the system of credit hours, and every student who gets a cumulative average of less than 2 will not be allowed to provide the number of credit hours.” Ismail said.

"Students must be committed to attend the student 75% of lectures and the College of Pharmacy may get quality and accreditation soon".

He elaborated that the state's tendency to establish branches of foreign universities in Egypt is important, adding that cooperation with foreign universities is a good step.

He also stressed the importance of private universities and expansion of its establishment and improvement, in order to reduce admission to Government Universities.

Private universities are required to establish MA programs, and he therefore hopes that the Ministry of Higher Education will agree to this. "Getting a Master's degree in private universities is necessary. The private universities have been built to continue and not to close and stop.” he added.
