CAIRO, Jan. 10 (SEE)- Egyptian space scientist Farouk El-Baz congratulated on Wednesday Liverpool’s star Mohamed Salah for winning CAF African Player of the Year for the second successive year.
“Congratulations to Mo Salah and to all the Egyptians. Salah has proven, in front of the whole world, a special merit exemption. We are blessed that Salah is an Egyptian citizen, who is proud of his birthplace, most positively inspiring our youth,” El-Baz said on Twitter.
“All of us have to follow this great example of pure masculinity, faith, and patriotism. May God save you and support your deeds,” he added.
Farouk El-Baz assisted NASA in the selection of the moon landing sites, including the training of astronauts in the project Apollo.
