Egypt’s FM Arrives in Riyadh for Bilateral Talks with Saudi Officials

Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration, Badr Abdelatty, arrived in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Monday to begin a round of bilateral talks with senior Saudi officials.

Upon his arrival, Minister Abdelatty was received at the airport by Deputy Saudi Foreign Minister Walid Al Khariji, reflecting the close diplomatic ties between the two nations.

During his visit, the Egyptian Foreign Minister is expected to take part in the meeting of the Follow-up and Political Consultation Committee between Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The committee serves as a key platform for strategic dialogue and coordination between the two regional powers.

Abdelatty’s agenda includes discussions on strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors and exchanging views on pressing regional developments. The talks are also set to address joint efforts to tackle ongoing challenges in the Middle East and promote stability in the region.

This visit underscores the mutual commitment of Cairo and Riyadh to deepen diplomatic engagement and enhance strategic coordination amid a rapidly evolving regional landscape.
