Egypt advanced two places in the global average fixed internet speed in March, ranking 71st with 87.15 Mbps, according to the Speedtest Index.
Singapore topped the world in terms of service speed, recording 357.52 Mbps, followed by the UAE in second place with 321.30 Mbps, Hong Kong in third place with 313.90 Mbps, and France in fourth place with 301.65 Mbps.
Iceland ranked fifth with 300.42 Mbps, followed by the United States in sixth place with 287.43 Mbps, Chile in seventh place with 282.66 Mbps, and Denmark in eighth place with 270.41 Mbps.
Spain ranked ninth with 261.53 Mbps, and Switzerland ranked tenth with 251.78 Mbps.
In the Middle East, Qatar ranked in the 23rd spot with 203.22 Mbps, Saudi Arabia in 45th place with 128.29 Mbps, Bahrain in 61st place with 96.20 Mbps, Oman in 72nd place with 87.03 Mbps, and Palestine in 95th place with 67.28 Mbps.
Turkey ranked 102nd with 53.40 Mbps, Iraq in 119th place with 36.04 Mbps, Iran in 140th place with 17.46 Mbps, while Syria ranked last in 154th place with 3.21 Mbps.
