EFA: VAR Resumed in Premier League

On Sunday, the Egyptian Football Association announced resuming the VAR technique in the Egyptian Premier League after its halting for several days.

The VAR was halted for several days due to some issues with the operating corporation.

EFA asserted that the technique will be present in the forthcoming EPA fixtures, including Al Zamalek and NBE game.

The football institution also underscored that the VAR will be present during the final round of Egypt's Cup tomorrow.

Al Ahly will face Pyramids for the final of the Egypt Cup on April 10 at Cairo International Stadium.

The Sports Director of Pyramids Hany Said revealed that the club asked for the presence of international officials for the game against Al Ahly.

Regarding the number of fans, the final number is still being discussed with the parties that are concerned with security.

Pyramids advanced to the final match of the tournament after defeating the title holders, Al Zamalek, with penalties.

While Al Ahly qualified for the final after defeating the Alexandria-based club, Smouha.

In the same context, Al Ahly successfully advanced to the knockout stage of the CAF Champions League, and Pyramids succeeded in reaching the knockouts of the CAF Confederation Cup.
