Dr. Zaghloul: Development in Communication Field to Solve Egypt's problems

CAIRO, Nov. 6 (SEE)- Dr. Hatem Zaghloul, the Egyptian inventor of Wi-Fi, said that science and technology have no limits, and that there is a very great development in the field of communications, which can help in solving the problems Egypt is facing.

Zaghloul pointed out to "SEE" that Egypt has young people capable of designing invention and innovation.

The Academy of Scientific Research in Egypt has opened its door to young inventors and offers them many advantages to facilitate the registration of their inventions, unlike the other countries that raise the price of registration of inventions, saying out that anyone can register his research idea in Egypt at LE300.

He referred to the importance of adding a new feature for the registration of inventions online to facilitate young people's initiatives. Zaghloul called on young people to register their innovations and inventions to ensure that they are not stolen, and insist on achieving their dreams and goals and patience with them, while complying with the terms of registration of ideas.

The process should include the title of the invention, a summary and a background of what the previous researchers did, as well as describing analysis what new idea will be presented by innovators in their research.

In order for the young people to protect their inventions from theft during recording the idea within 30 months, the Egyptian expert explained that young inventors can request the Wipro Foundation to protect their projects so that the entire world could know it's owner.

Zaghloul stressed during his speech to students of the Faculty of Computer and Information, Ain Shams University the importance of awareness of the value of science and inventions, calling on all state institutions to take care of this file and raise awareness of citizens.

The expert also focused on the importance of scientific research and innovations, which contributes to raising and improving Egypt's economy and the importance of the cooperation between Egyptian scientists and inventors.

With China being one of the most patented countries in America, Zaghloul said that by 2020 Beijing will be the world's largest inventor.

He pointed out to a technological revolution in the field of communications, and the great development in the fifth and sixth generation of networks capable of extract 3 billion information per second.

The expert added that there are attempts to transfer the Internet to the whole world without the use of Wi-Fi, pointing out the existence of 2 billion Smartphone, and that the sixth generation of networks targets 4 billion Smartphone.
