TP Mazembe made an ideal start to their campaign in the CAF Champions League (CL) group stage after thrashing Egypt's Zamalek with three unanswered goals on Saturday, putting Micho's future in doubt.
Jackson Muleka had given Mazembe the lead after 61 minutes when he met Capongo's well-played cross with a powerful header.
Six minutes later, Mputu Mabi doubled his side's advantage through a left-foot shot into the bottom left corner past Awad.
Muleka scored his second goal in the match when he sneaked into the box and powered home a brilliant header from the center of the box, sealing the victory in the 84th minute.
Zamalek's keeper Mohamed Awad brought into action for the first time in the game as his excellent save denied Jackson Muleka's shot in the 34th minute.
Awad resumed his illustrious performance as he made another great save to Chebongo's powerful shot in the 40th minute.

Four minutes later, Muleka struck another superb shot from the outside of the box but Awad made another fine save. Both clubs were pooled in Group A, alongside D’Agosto and ZESCO United.
The White Knights managed to reach the knockout phase after thrashing Decadaha with thirteen unanswered goals in the 64th round. The Whites qualified for the group stage after knocking out Generation Foot from the last 32.
