Tosun's Late Goal Held Tottenham to 1-1 Draw Vs. Everton

Tosun's 98-minute late goal held Tottenham to a 1-1 draw as the Spurs failed to secure their fourth win in the Premier League versus Everton.

Dele Alli's strike had given Tottenham the lead in the 63rd minute when Son slided in Alli, who drove inside Djibril Sidibé and fired into the corner beyond Pickford.

Tosun rocked the Goodison Park stadium by hitting the equalizer in the injury time when he met ucas Digne’s brilliant first-time cross with a powerful header.

It is the second time for Tottenham to lose their advantage in the encounter as they were defeated in the previous round by Liverpool 2-1 as they had gone ahead.

Tottenham now rank eleventh with only eleven points marking one of the worst start for a season for the Spurs as the only won three games out of eleven clashes. Everton now came in the seventeenth spot with only eleven points.

Tottenham are set to search for their fourth Premier League victory when they will host Sheffield United on Saturday, November 9, while Everton will take on Southampton at the same day.

Liverpool now attain the Premier League leadership as the Reds is the only team in the competition, who do not lose any game as they won ten encounters and drew only in one.
