The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has announced the opening of applications to accept a new batch of preparatory and secondary sports schools for the academic year 2024/2025, for boys and girls in the governorates of Cairo, Alexandria, Menoufia, Sharqia, Port Said, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut and Fayoum, as for boys only in Giza, Qalyubia, Sohag, Luxor, Aswan and Marsa. Matrouh and New Valley.
The Ministry of Education has set the date for withdrawing files for application in sports schools for the middle and secondary levels from June 9 to July 11, 2024, indicating that the value of the file is 50 pounds, and that the start date for exams is July 24.
The Ministry also announced the conditions for admission to sports schools as follows:
- For the preparatory stage: The student must have passed the sixth grade of primary school and be transferred to the first grade of preparatory school. The application file must be withdrawn from the preparatory sports school on the specified date.
- For the secondary stage: - Admission is opened for students who have obtained the preparatory certificate in the educational directorate to which the school belongs, in the event that there are vacant places in the first year of secondary sports sports, and the application file is withdrawn from the preparatory sports school on the specified date.
The Ministry of Education clarified the details of the medical examination and admission tests for admission to sports schools for next year, which are as follows:
- Conducting a medical examination and announcing its results before the start of the physical, skill and cultural tests.
- The student must pass the medical examination (vision, chest, heart, complete blood test, and intelligence test) provided that it is from health insurance or one of the government hospitals located within the school’s jurisdiction.
- The student must pass physical, physical, skill, cultural and sports tests.
