El-Ahly Chairman Mahmoud El-Khatib officially announced that Salam Stadium now belongs to the club for the next couple of years until they establish their own stadium.
El-Khatib announced during the "Stadiums" press conference that two sub-stadiums will be established within the Salam Stadium and one will be for the youth club.
The Chairman also assured that he asked the security forces to increase the number of fans in next Friday's clash against Helal at Salam Stadium.
In addition to El-Khatib's statements, Stadiums announced that they have officially obtained 51% of the rights of El-Ahly channel, previously owned by Presentation Live.
According from an official statement on the company’s website, they will now operate El-Ahly’s channel for the time being and will seek to evolve the channel’s feature shows and programs.
The company further added that they will be looking to make the channel “World Class” with many exciting programs with high caliber quality.
The company added in its statement: “We are also proud to be a pure Egyptian national company, the largest company in Egypt and the Middle East with the rights to manage the largest number of stadiums and sports bodies, which drives us to work to be the main partner and the ideal engine of Egyptian sports and the first assistant to convert its facilities. Sports to the world level, equipped to host the most important events and tournaments at any time during the coming years.
Stadiums announced in a press conference that Mohamed Kamal will be assigned as the chief operating officer of the company and will start his job immediately.
