Uruguay international forward Diego Rolán has emerged as a target for Pyramids FC, according to reports in Italy.
Just a few days ago, the Egyptian club were linked with a sensational move for Bristol City and Senegal striker Famara Diédhiou.
They are reportedly want to strengthen their attacking area as all of their strikers combined have two goals to their names this season, one each for John Antwi and Dodo El-Gabas.
Meanwhile, new signing Mahmoud Wadi is yet to score for them despite his impressive performances with former club Al Masry.
With the departure of Tunisian winger Amor Layouni, Pyramids FC have now the ability to sign a new foreign player.
The latest name to be linked with the club is Uruguay international forward Diego Rolán, who currently plies his trade at Spain’s Segunda División club Deportivo de La Coruña.
According to Italian news outlet SerieBNews, negotiations between the player and the Egyptian club are in a ‘fairly advanced stage’.
He had joined the club back in 2018 from Bordeaux for a fee around €6.00m, but was sent just days later to CD Leganés on loan
