Pyramids FC football club has officially announced on Monday the signing of Uganda's former coach Sébastien Desabre replacing axed Ramón Díaz.
The French coach terminated his contract with Cranes after their loss to Senegal in the last 16 at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Pyramids officials asserted that the Frenchman signed a two-year contract with the club. On his part, Desabre expressed his utmost happiness of joining the team.

"The work environment in Pyramids is very appropriate. When I met with the club's officials, I found that everything is ready to achieve my ambitions and goals," Desabre said.
"I am here to achieve Pyramids dream of claiming Egypt Cup title, alongside the African Confederations Cup title," the former Cranes' coach added.
It is worth mentioning that Desabre had led Ismaily SC before and he managed to finish second in the Egyptian Premier League after sixteen matches during the 2017-2018 season.
During his tenure with Ismaily, the Frenchman won eleven games, drew in four matches, and lost only a single match.
