Napoli are facing a series of setbacks following their heavy 6–2 defeat to PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League.
Furthermore, the team's goalkeeper, Alex Meret, suffered a foot fracture less than a day before their crucial Serie A encounter with Inter Milan.

Although the club has not issued an official update, Sky Sport Italia reported that Højlund missed today’s training session and is not fit enough even for a place on the bench.
