Madagascar displayed attacking abilities from the get go, forcing the Nigerian side onto their own midfield.
Madagascar, ranked 108th in world football, ranked first place with seven points, while Nigeria gained six points ranking 6. Guinea’s four points in third place should be enough to see them also advance to the last 16 but Burundi, in last place without any points, are eliminated.
