On Thursday, Liverpool's stars including the Egyptian King Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexandr-Arnold made their annual Christmas visit to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital to bring the season's festive cheer.
Liverpool's manager Arne Slot, and his staff were with the players during their visit to the hospital in West Derby, Liverpool.
Liverpool's official platforms shared warm and funny photos of the players with the children, including the special Meet and Greet with the patients and their families.
van Dijk told Liverpool's official website: "For us to be here and to make these kids smile is such a good thing to do. I know it’s a nice surprise for all of them. Alder Hey is an amazing hospital with amazing people that work here. It’s a special place where obviously hopefully everyone gets better. To have the people working here being there for the people that are struggling, and the kids especially, it’s amazing what they do. I have a lot of respect for them."
