KSA's Al Hilal Extend Kanno's Contract to 2027

On Saturday, Saudi club Al Hilal announced the renewal of midfielder Mohamed Kanno’s contract until the summer of 2027. 

This extension ensures the player continues his journey with "Al-Zaeem" after his contract was initially set to expire in the summer of 2025, amid speculation about a potential move to Al Ahli Jeddah or Neom FC.

This renewal puts an end to the uncertainty surrounding the 30-year-old player's future. 

Kanno is considered one of Al Hilal’s key pillars, and the club hopes to continue achieving domestic and continental successes with its star players.

Al Hilal is working to secure the continuity of its key players, actively negotiating contract renewals for Salem Al-Dawsari and Ali Al-Bulaihi, whose contracts are set to expire at the end of the current season.

Meanwhile, "The Blue of the Capital" continues its preparations for the second-leg clash against Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor in the AFC Champions League Round of 16. The team needs to win by a two-goal margin to overturn its 0-1 first-leg defeat and advance to the quarterfinals.
