The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced on Tuesday that King Abdullah Sports City Stadium and Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium in the Saudi city of Jeddah have been approved to host the Knockouts of the AFC Champions League Elite 2026.
The final stage of the tournament will take place from April 16 to April 25, 2026, featuring the eight clubs that qualify for the knockout rounds.
The competition will be played in a single-match knockout format, with the quarter-final matches scheduled between April 16 and 18, followed by the semi-finals on April 20 and 21.
The tournament will conclude with the final match on April 25, 2026.
Three Emirati clubs are taking part in the current edition of the AFC Elite Champions League: Al Wahda, Shabab Al Ahli, and Al Sharjah.
Saudi Arabia is represented by Al Ittihad, Al Hilal, and Al Ahli.
It is worth noting that Al Hilal currently lead Group B of the AFC Elite Champions League with 18 points, having secured six consecutive victories.
Meanwhile, Al Ahli claimed the AFC Champions League Elite title for the first time in their history during last season.
