The Syrian Football Association announced on Saturday that domestic football activities will resume on April 10.

The football activities were suspended for three months due to the ongoing war in the country.

The federation had previously decided in December to suspend and postpone league matches indefinitely due to security concerns.

The federation confirmed that competitions will resume for all divisions and categories, allowing clubs to return to action after a prolonged break.

Additionally, the federation announced several key decisions, including:

Appointing Raghdan Shehata as the new manager of the Syrian national team.

Assigning Anas Sabouni as an assistant coach within the coaching staff led by Spanish head coach José Lana.

Earlier, the federation had decided to hold league matches without spectators before eventually postponing the competition indefinitely at the end of last year.
