On Friday, FIFA unveiled the ball for the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup that will take place in the US.
The ball’s design carries a tribute to the US, including diverse graphics that celebrate the country’s heritage.
The ball carries "jagged-edged block patterns and deconstructed stars and stripes in red, white and blue in a nod to the nation’s flag," according to FIFA's official statement.
It was designed by PRECISIONSHELL technology by constructing a 20-piece panel shape with debossed grooves on the ball’s outer shell.
The tournament will take place next June with the participation of 32 teams for the first time in the championship's history.
FIFA invited Messi's Inter Miami to represent the hosts.
Egypt's Al Ahly will participate in the tournament's opener against the host's representatives.
