It was reported that the two friendlies of the U-20 Egyptian national football team against Nigeria were canceled, media reports indicated on Sunday.
The matches of the youth national team, led by Osama Nabih, against Nigeria were scheduled for February.
These matches were part of the preparation for the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations which will take place in April, after both teams were drawn into the same group in the tournament.
The Egyptian U-20 national team continue their training camp at the National Teams Center which will run until February 28.
The Africa U-20 Cup of Nations will be hosted by Ivory Coast from April 26 to May 18.
Four teams will qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
