Egypt Hosts World Water Polo Championship

Egypt has hosted the World Water Polo Championship in Soma Bay, Hurghada.

Several European clubs and most of the well-known clubs in the country participated in the tournament.

The event lasted four days in an atmosphere of competition and sportsmanship.

The organization was outstanding, with fans of the sport were very keen to attend every match.

The Sodic Club's under-11 team won first place after defeating one of the strongest Italian clubs.

The team maintained a wonderful performance throughout the tournament under the leadership of the club's president, Mr. Ahmed Adel, and all thanks to the year-long efforts of the team's coach, Mr. Fawzy, who prepared and presented the team in a manner befitting Egypt's name.

Mr. Fawzy led the team during the tournament, along with Mr. Abou Gabal, who spared no effort to secure first place.

Goalkeeping coach Captain Effendi received widespread acclaim for his players' stellar performance during the tournament.

Winning the championship and ranking first place was considered one of the most important victories for water polo, especially since this was the first time the tournament was held in Egypt.
