The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has set a tentative date for the African Super Cup match, which will bring together Confederation champion Zamalek with the winner of Al-Ahly and Tunisian Esperance in the African Champions League.

The Confederation of African Football revealed the launch of a tender for VAR video technology until the year 2027, which revealed details regarding the date of the African Super Cup and the fate of the continental championships for next season.

Some important points were identified in the tender that was presented:

- The African Super Cup between Zamalek and the Champions League champion during the period from next June 25 to 30 as a tentative date.

- The Confederation Championship continues with its normal system and video technology, starting with the knockout rounds in the quarter-finals, to be used in a total of (14 matches).

The use of video technology in the African Champions League begins with the quarter-finals, with a total of 14 matches.

- The continuation of the African League competitions and the use of video technology in a total of (8 matches)

During the video technology services tender, CAF also specified that the African Super Cup will be held in the period from May to next June, as the deadline for receiving bids is June 22, which means that the Super Cup will not be held before June 25 due to the requirement to provide video technology three days before the match date.
