Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich announced today, Tuesday, the extension of Belgian coach Vincent Kompany’s contract until June 30, 2029.
Kompany was originally contracted until the summer of 2027.
The club’s decision to extend his contract early and long-term reflects their satisfaction with his performance.
Kompany expressed his gratitude and honor. He also thanked Bayern Munich for the excellent working environment they have provided.
Kompany joined Munich from English club Burnley ahead of the 2024-2025 season and led the team to the Bundesliga title in his first season. He also won the German Super Cup at the start of the current season.
