On Monday, Al Ahly's Omar Kamal Abdel Wahid joined the Egyptian National team camp for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Abdel Wahid was called up for the Egyptian national team squad after the injury of Al Zamalek's star Ahmed Fatouh who had to leave the camp for treatment.
In the same context, Abdel Wahid was received by Egypt's coach and the team's manager Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan, before participating in a part of the training session.
The Egyptian national team will face Burkina Fasso in the fourth round of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers next Thursday at Cairo International Stadium before traveling to Guinea Bissau on June 10.
