Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday that his country will win the war.

“We will win the war,” Zelensky said in his word during the Asian Security meeting.

Moreover, the Ukrainian president noted that his country's forces are doing everything to stop the Russian offensive, with fierce battles in the east and the south.

On Friday, the Ukrainian president expressed his gratitude to the UK, its government, and Prime Minister Boris Johnson for supporting Ukraine.

This came during Zelesnky’s meeting with British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace.

On his part, Zelensky stressed that the war has proved that the UK is a true friend and partner of Ukraine.

"Words turn into actions. Weapons, finance, sanctions…on these three issues, Britain shows leadership," President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday that more than 31,000 Russian soldiers have been killed in Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion on February 24.

Moreover, Zelensky said that the Russian army is losing over “300 dead a day” because of the war, according to the British newspaper “The Guardian”.

Earlier, the Ukrainian president warned that Russia’s takeover and blockade of Ukraine’s ports in the Black Sea would lead to “genocide” due to food shortages around the world.

“We have 20 billion worth of grain that has been blocked in Ukrainian ports,” Zelensky said.

“We will have an additional 50 billion tons of grain and food in Ukraine, which will remain in Ukraine due to the Russian blockade,” he added.
